My name is Joey Devine.

I am a recent college graduate from Saint Mary’s College of California. Although I have earned a degree being in Business Marketing, I have always held a great interest in both video games and creative writing. Video games were my first real introduction to storytelling after I was too old for fairytales before bed. As such, they have been a major component of my growth and motivation as a writer. My childhood is full of memories depicting games such as Halo and Crash Bandicoot, and how much I loved the stories and the cutscenes, even if I was too young to understand an entire plot. However, I always found my mind wandering when it came to stories I was exposed to. What if Master Chief was not the only spartan in the game? What if Ratchet and Clank were the bad guys? Over time, these questions came out in the form of stories. Then, as I went through school and grew up, whenever I became interested in a new series I always had to at least write down some silly idea or another that I would have changed or added to a game to make a better story.
